BIO:

It all started at an early age for me.  I would go around the house and
tap on anything I could get sound out of.  I always thought that drums were
the coolest. I guess it didn't help that my parents were in charge of an
all girl precision marching unit, called the "Redettes," and all of their
competitions would coincide with drum and bugle corps competitions.  So
for about ten years I tagged along and saw some of the best drum corps in
the nation.  In high school band, everybody wanted to play percussion but I
got stuck with a coronet and then the big move to baritone put me closer to
the drum section.  My friend Allen Perkins was a year ahead of me in school
and played in a "ROCK" band called "Midnight Sun."  I would hang out as
much as I could and listen to them practice and play.  I kind'a became a
roady. I had the bug bad. Finally in my senior year Allen had graduated and
his guitar player Rick Wagner wanted to put a band together and asked me if
I wanted to play drums.  I jumped at the chance.  The only thing stopping me
was that I didn't have any drums.  I found an old set of Pearls at a garage sale
and scraped together $50.  About eight hours of practice a day over the
next three weeks we put together a band with Rick, Bob Suede and Jeff
Reynolds called "IZROQUE" pronounced {is rock}.  We played our first job at
the Lions Club picnic on a Saturday night and the rest is what it is.  After
about two dozen bands, and many thousands of dollars of equipment, we
come to the present day.  I had been playing with "Marvin and the Martians"
for about the last five and a half years and it had about run it's course; mind
you it was a blast and I loved playing with Marv, Gary, Fred and Tom but it
was time to move on.  The funniest thing, as fate would have it, I got a call
from Darwyn to fill for a job.  WOW!!!, I had heard the band a lot and really
admired their professionalism and energy.  After playing with them they
asked if I could do the next weekend and of course I said sure.  After that
there was kind of a chemistry forming.  I have been overwhelmed by their
musicianship, spirit and drive [along with DANO'S cooking] not to mention
he is a top notch sound engineer.  I am looking forward, with Darwyn's help,
to keep the drive behind the band going, and let Kevin's pipes and those two
phenomenal guitar players shred and whale.

I just want to take a minute and thank the people that have made this
"special hobby" of mine possible.

My parents Russ and Carol - God bless them

My special partner Tammy who is the best band wife on the face of the
earth.

Last but not least Megan, Eric, Katie and Ryne who just shake their
heads and wonder when Dad is going to grow up.
