I moved up here from Chicago a couple of years ago for some well deserved peace and quiet. I'd played in a lot of bands all over the country and did get to play in London a few times with my father, Ken Nordine, in his band "Word Jazz." I'm on a couple of records too. One on the Grateful Dead label. But being a pro musician for many years, I wanted to find a couple of cats who could jam. Well, I ran into Darwyn, Bill and Kevin. They were putting this little outfit, "Next Myle," together. We tried it out and the sound really clicked. Not to mention the fact that five guys found each other who are really on the same page. Playing in "Next Myle" is probably the coolest band I have ever been in and I've been in a few. The best part about it is the support we get from our fans. I keep saying that we could be up there playing all we want, but if the people don't like it, we may as well give up. It's all you folks who support us that makes it worthwhile. Thanks.
