"Next Myle" was formed in the summer of 2003. The band started with two guys and an idea.
Darwyn Aberly (Bass) formerly in the local band "City Limits" teamed up with Paul Quello
(drums). From out of nowhere (Alabama that is) came Mr. Bill Bice (Guitar). He dazzled the
duo with his left handed mastery and it was decided that he was a "Must Have." Kris Nordine
(Guitar) left his "Sweet Home Chicago" and decided to give our quiet northern lifestyle a try.
He soon figured it was too quiet and decided that he wanted to make a little noise. It didn't
take Darwyn long to hear Kris blasting away and decided to let him vent on stage. In
September the band decided to find a Vocalist to make the band complete and Kevin Fraker
was asked to leave the Karaoke scene and give "LIVE" music a whirl. In January 2004, just
as everything was coming together for the band, Paul Quello left the band. Terry Haefs was
quickly added and debuted with the band two weeks later for a memorable Valentine's Day
gig at the Hitch 'n' Post in Aurora, WI. For 2 1/2 years things were rollin' right along when
Terry Haefs decided to leave the band (September 2006). As luck would have it, "the Big
Guy," Mr. Eddie Sauld was available. With Eddie we started expanding this operation and
finally broke into the Hodag Pavilion lineup. In May of 2008, Bill Bice decided to get back out
on the road and left us with a big hole to fill. Once again, we had lady luck on our side and Bill
Martin excepted our invitation. For the next two solid years Next Myle rocked on. The Band
added more great gigs, more great memories, and most importantly, more new friends along
the way. In April of 2010, Bill Bice returned to the band, the previous two years (maybe more)
a "Momentary Haze." One year later, in April 2011, David Sweig joined the band on the
drums. After spending a few years raising little tykes and fishing, he felt it was time to lay down
the beat once again. Let's welcome Dave and continue down the road and see what that
Next Myle holds.
